Laced Sweatshirt

Sweatshirt: J.Crew lace print (Now in Factory) / Shirt: Banana Republic Non-Iron Shirt
Jeans: J.Brand denim / Shoes: Tibi Amber Heels / Bag: Banana Republic (old)

Hi lovelies! We made it through another week! It's been a pretty exciting week between my Fantasy Football roster (yes, I'm obsessed!) and the World Series game. I've been on stress overload! I can at least relax for the next two days ;-)

One item you won't find too much of in my closet is a sweatshirt...until now! It's been a long time since I've found one that really jumps at me and kicks and screams if I don't get my hands on it immediately! I absolutely love anything lace so seeing the lace print on the sweatshirt was a no brainer for me. Once again, a bargain buy at J.Crew Factory. And a treat for you this Halloween, J.Crew Factory is offering up to 50% off everything in stores. I'm hoping I can stop by! If I do, I'll make sure to share with you my new pieces...

Here are a couple of other purty sweatshirts that are on my radar...and all under $200!
Till next time...

Cactus Part Deux

Sunglasses: Banana Republic Caylin (old) / Bag: NW Foldover (similar here, w/studs!)

Afternoon everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend thus far!

If you haven't noticed, crop tops are one of my most picky items. I just started embracing them this year! I know, I know, why would I wait so long to wear such a fantastic piece! Like all things, you have to find the right fit that best suits your body. I definitely found that in this Tibi cactus crop. For one, it isn't fitted so I don't feel the need to "suck it in" with every single step! It's just the right amount of coverage. Although I'm showing more skin than I normally would, I can comfortably wear without feeling self couscous... you all remember Concrete Crops? Well if you do feel like it just isn't enough fabric to wear with jeans, wearing with a pencil or high waist skirt is simply perfection!! I could also easily add a chunky cardigan and layer it up. Oh, and let's not forget the back detail, so smitten!

How do you gals wear your crops, please share! :-)

Shoes: Zara (old) / Watch: Michael Kors Chronograph / Bracelet: Alex and Ani Best Friends

Happy Friday All! We've almost crossed the work week finish line...how did you spend your week? Things weren't too crazy for me at the office, meeting here meeting there, nothing to complain about. Oh, except for the sweet treats overload in the office! I'm telling you, eating at work will be the death of my "eating right" way of life. Sure, I can say no thank you, but why in the world would I do that! ;-)

My casual Friday look is half business causal half street chic. I picked up this non-iron striped blue shirt from banana, of course on 40% off Wednesdays. Scored it in store as it is sold out in blue online. It's super comfy and because of the fit, you can wear it a number of ways. Tucked, loose, unbuttoned, or a combination of all! What are you wearing for your casual Friday? Please share!

Jacquard Jargon

Jacket: Trouve (similar here and here) / Top: Bebe / Skirt: Astr Textured Jacquard Skirt (on sale!)
Shoes: Steve Madden / Bag: Rebecca Minkoff

Afternoon beauts! Hope everyone is having a great start to the week thus far!!

Now that fall is in full effect it's the perfect time to break out your nude colors, textures and the year around staple...leather! My desired fabric selection from todays post is jacquard. There's something about the fabric that screams Fall! Maybe it's the dense fabric that's just enough material to offset the weather change, or the subtle texture print that's just enough to make a statement. I chose this Astr pleated jacquard skirt because of the midi length and the pretty textured print. It adds just the right touch of dressy so I can wear a simple tank or even a graphic tee and still feel glam!

And because I just love to clash different styles together, adding a leather moto jacket was a must. I purchased this jacket during the Nordstroms Anniversary sale...you may remember it from the post here! Unfortunately this particular jacket is no longer available but I found two others that look so close! One being another Trouve that's belted and has a really cool zip detail. It's definitely more moto-esk if you ask me!

See you soon beauts!

Working the Colorblock

Dress: Banana Republic Colorblock shift (eBay) / Jacket: Halogen Zip detail (save here and here)
Shoes: Enzo (similar here) / Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a good start to the week. The earlier in the week it is for me the more I need to keep me going! Since I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I just eat loads of sugar midday ;-) One thing that's sweet is a fab deal on this Banana Republic Colorblock shift dress! (Don't fret, was able to locate on on eBay!) I love it's simplicity and its super easy to throw on for work. Since I sit most of the day for work, comfort is key. And what better item to compliment a simple dress, a moto jacket!

What's your go-to for office wear? Here are other colorblock frocks that's got me swooning! ...and almost all are uber marked down!

Talk soon beauts...
