Shoes: Zara Cobalt Blue Heels / Bag: J.Crew Tillary bag (love this too) Necklace: J.Crew (similar here and here

It's lunchtime in SF and since the sun has graced us with its warmth, everyone is enjoying lunch outside! Gorgeous day, gorgeous weather so I couldn't resist wearing this gorgeous cobalt blue color today!

So. I just noticed the last two fashion posts I'm wearing some variation shade of blue. I suppose I've been obsessing over the color lately! Especially cobalt blue :-) These lovely heels I got from Zara last summer and I rarely bring them out the closet. They are no longer at Zara but fortunately there are a few I spotted eBay. Since my shoes are the pop of color with this outfit, I decided to add other small hints of color, the colorful J.Crew Necklace and bright green cross body bag.

Along with these items, here are some other cobalt wonders I'm CRAVING!

Thanks for visiting fashionistas!

Hiya! Hope everyone's week is going well thus far! I've had a super crazy week so far... and it doesn't help that I think I'm coming down with something :-/ I work with financial planning systems and we are going under a major migration to the latest release of an application called Dodeca. I will be pretty busy over the next few weeks preparing, developing, testing but I will not, I repeat, will NOT let it get between my fashion posts :-)

Today I'm wearing a steal I nabbed from Macy's. This Rachel Roy color block jacket was on sale and the total cost was under $100 bucks! Unfortunately, it's sold out at Macy's but I found a few available on eBay! It's available in a size 0size 4, size 6 and a size 8. I've been seeing color blocking everywhere, jackets, handbags, dresses, shoes...and I love every ounce of it, the more contrast the better!

Here are some of my favorite color block items...

Thanks for stopping by!

It's the end of the work week and I decided to have lunch at my favorite FiDi restaurant Wayfare Tavern! They have THE best fried chicken! (Drooling as I type!) It comes family style so I can usually split it with two gals or guy...it is def on my top restaurants list for SF :-)

I was on the hunt for the perfect pencil skirt a few months back and totally scored on this UrbanCode London leather skirt. You saw it here first in my February post...This Urbancode Leather skirt looks even better than it looked online, and it's super comfortable. I could literally wear it every week! The important thing to recognize when shopping for anything leather is your body type. Since I'm slender and sprinkled with a dash of curves, I look for pieces with a higher waist to accentuate the shape of my body. The skirt's polyester side panels give a little stretch to my frame while synching in wonderfully at the waist. This midi is the perfect match for anyone's body type! Leather midi's are the way to go. Unfortunately, this skirt is sold out but I found tons of other beautiful leather skirts!

Thanks for stopping by!!

RED DOT CHIC

Top: Target (on sale!) / Bottoms: AG Legging jeans / Shoes: Frye Veronica Boot
Scarf: Target (old, similar here and here) / Bag: JCrew Biennial bag / Lips: Nars Vesuvio

Depending on my 'mood', for work I try to mix up my business casual closet pieces with weekend casual items. While I would wear this silky long button-up blouse tucked in with a skirt or trouser on weekdays, wearing it all hang out gives a more casual look. I'm wearing my go-to moto boots, the Frye Veronica's. These moto boots hands down was my favorite boots purchase of 2013! I could easily swap out the boots for an ankle strap heel like these or a pump if I wanted to keep it on the dressy side.

I am a frequent shopper at The Red Dot boutique! Where else can you go to buy household and kitchen items, cleaning products, home decor, groceries and clothes in one place?! I always find a new piece to take home with me, usually being under 30 bucks. If I can't be reached at home or by phone, I'm more than likely strolling the aisles of Target ;-)

EMBELLISHED HELLO

Sweater: VS cardigan (on sale!)/ Shirt: J.Crew, sold out (similar here and here) / Jeans: Seven
Necklace: Zara Fringe and Chain necklace / Bag: old / Boots: old, (similar here and here) / Lips: Stila (beso)

Friday is not only my favorite day of the week because the weekend is practically here...it's also casual Friday at work! My most comfortable type of outfit is jeans and a tee, and like today I simply add a monstrous statement necklace to glam it up a bit!

I first saw this necklace at Zara a few weeks ago and didn't buy. I thought it was WAY too much going on...but then I frequently visited the necklace online to double, triple and quadruple check I was okay with not owning this lovely piece ;-) On my second visit back to Zara, I made sure I wore in a casual tee, as I had on an embroidered shirt the first time...the rest is history, it was a perfect match! I'm super happy with this purchase and it's under $100 bucks!

The tee I'm wearing is one of my favorite casual tees, as you can see here. It may be still available in stores on clearance but sold out online. Fortunately, J.Crew has a newer version out now, the Linen these are the days tee. To put the icing on the cake, there's a 25% coupon code valid this weekend off of selected regular price and sale items!

J.Crew 25% code: HAPPYSHOPPING

And like the promo code says...happy shopping fashionistas! :-)

MOTO FLOWERS

Jacket: Moto (old, similar here and here) / Dress: HD in Paris Tropicalist Dress / Shoes: VS Metro Bootie (sold out, similar sale here and splurge here) / Bag: J.Crew / Necklace: J.Crew Factory Necklace / Lips: NARS

Today I'm hoping to bring on spring weather with this Tropical floral shift dress from Anthropologie...which I might add is currently on clearance!! All morning the city has been covered in clouds but to my surprise I step out and there's nothing but sunny skies :-) I suppose wearing bright flowers did the trick!

Reasons why I love this dress: 1) It's super comfortable, I sized one size up so I can sit comfortably and have the shift dress look 2) It's the perfect length, It's not too short to wear to work bare or with tights and not too long to wear out during the day for a more casual or dressy look and 3) just look at the vivid colors and print of this dress! 4) It matches my J.Crew Factory necklace perfect! ;-)

Other floral shift dresses that are closet worthy...
